I’ve created this website to showcase my website design skills and document my progress as I embark on a unique challenge of running a 5k in every county across Michigan by 2025. Along the way, I want to spread the word about my web hosting solutions and showcase the websites I’ve created.
My challenge, known as Run MI 5k, is straightforward: run a 5k in each of Michigan’s counties within the next five summers. My Running Journey:
My journey as a runner began in 2005 when I signed up for a couch to 5k program with Lisa Taylor. After completing the program, I immediately participated in a 10k race (the Bayshore). Since then, I’ve completed numerous 5ks, 10ks, and half marathons. During this time, I’ve already run in eleven Michigan counties (though I don’t count these for this project). I plan to revisit each and every county as part of this project. The counties I’ve run in so far include: Grand Traverse, Benzie, Leelanau, Kent, Isabella, Clare, Chippewa, Livingston, Genesee, Gladwin, and Ingham.
