Ogemaw County Run

County Complete
I was shaking my foundation because it was 42° out and...
...raining. That's cold to be running in shorts I packed. So I had work pants on and just did this run in those.
I believe this was the first time driving on these roads. Very similar to Gladwin, just farms and forest.
Here was a photo on that road.
Very cool old barn. I love old barns.
I parked on the side of the road by a farm very open area.
Here was the tiny lake just south of Lake George.
It was still sprinkling and was a little wet—very cool start to this run.
On the opposite side of that little lake was this little swampy area.
Another look at this tiny little lake and some beautiful houses on it.
I'm not 100% sure if this was my first glimpse of Lake George or just one last peek at the little lake. But I think it was my first glance at the northern lake.
Cool little resort for campers.
Here I am looking north at Lake George.
And south at the lake I just passed.

I took these next three shots were taken from the boat launch area.

I'm back on the curvy part of the road.
Found this cool little creek that runs from Lake George.
Interesting woods.
Here is a big farm on the northeast side of Lake George.
Very cool section of this house. I'm sure it was built to get a look at the lake.
Made some friends on this run.
Another look at the north end of Lake George.
My route showed a road going through this area, but it didn't. I had to cut through somebody's yard to get back to the main road. I'm sorry for trespassing to whoever lives here.
I took this picture because my car was over by those white hay bails. Of course, I can't see it because it's a half-mile away!

Great Design Plan to run the county for this website

I had planned a run around another lake over on the east side because I was hoping Lisa and I would go over there and I could knock three counties down in a weekend. But I decided today to get another run done. It’s been almost a week without a county, so I figured I need to get one going.
