Huron County Run 

County Complete
Melody, Lisa, and I saw what seemed like 100s of wind turbines. The next day we looked up how many wind turbines were in this area. It turns out Michigans thumb (Huron, Tuscola, and Sanilac counties) have 836 operating turbines producing 1584 MW of electricity. Amazing!
Once in Bad Axe, we unpacked the car with Ivy and Melody and went to our hotel room. After a while of relaxing, I decided it was time to get my second run in for the day before it gets dark.
Very early into this run, I received a message from Lisa saying that It's too hot in the hotel room and they are moving us to another room. She needed help because she had both kids. I told her I would be about another 30 minutes once the run was over.
I ran up to this train. So very cool to see this up close, but the road ended at the tracks, so I decided to follow the rail road to another road.
Saw this fascinating tower in Bad Axe. I would like to know what that stores. Because my phone only had a 20% charge, I didn't keep checking my route to see if I were on track. I would look at my phone every now and again to take pictures or check if it were time to head back to the hotel.
It was getting late, and the sun was going down. I knew if I headed back to the hotel, I wouldn't have this run done, and I would have to run twice Sunday. Very much not a good option.
Several businesses were on the backside of E Huron Rd., and I loved seeing the stars and stripes flying.
I ran past several churches. It seemed like no matter what denomination you choose; you would find a place that welcomes you.
About halfway done with this run and Heading back to/on E. Huron Rd.
Back in town, later in the evening, Lisa and I needed either a bottle brush or some bottles for Ivy, so I went to the Walmart area and discovered a more significant part of Bad Axe.
Wonderful Memorial in the middle of town, I read that there was a Museum somewhere around here too, but we were exhausted and decided not to explore together.
Did you think I won't have a water tower photo? I love that I only caught the "bad" of Bad Axe.
Saw the same tower heading back to the hotel.
The Franklin Inn and Lounge understood our complaint about the air conditioner not working in the previous room with two young kids. So when I got back to the room, they upgraded us to this room and made the rest of the stay much more comfortable for everyone. Thank You, Franklin Inn.
Great Design Plan to run the county for this website

I made this plan while at the hotel in Bad Axe after running Tuscola on my way to Bad Axe – I plan to run Salinac County tomorrow. As you can see above, I didn’t follow it very well. Mainly because my phone was low on a battery charge, and I didn’t want to look at my phone very often.
