Newaygo County Run

County Complete
Today March 4th was Melodies and Grandma Grey's birthday! They share the same day. One turned 5 and the other 72. We met up in Cadillac to have breakfast at After 26 Depot Café. Was very nice to have breakfast out as it's been months since I've eaten out.
Alex (and Creig – not in the picture) came with us and it was a fantastic Breakfast.
This is Hardy Dam I had to cross this dam to Meet up with Sally and Fritz. They were kind enough to offer me a room because I had to go to Georgia for an interview the next day, and had to fly out of Grand Rapids. Thank you SO much Sally and Fritz!
This was the planned route on "map my run" I'm amazed at how closely I followed that path for my final run.
Parked my car at the northern part of the Dam.
Was cool to see the snow is finally starting to melt.
Lots of ice is still out on the pond.
Heading south west.
Lots of tracks out on the ice.
Not sure why but this shrub got my attention on the run.
Was amazed to see fishermen still out on the ice.
Water on both sides of the road.
Me about two mile into the run.
The sun was peaking it's way onto the ice!
Loved seeing this church almost to the road.
This is the other side where the water has movement. No ice here.
Photo of me after the interview in Georgia. If I do get the job I might have to shelve the MI 5k challenge, but regardless I will continue to run and post. I may start the same thing down there. After the interview I was very pleased with the company and the people I might get the opportunity to work with, I think they liked me and realize what I can bring to the table. We'll see.
Great Design Plan to run the county for this website

It is my new plan to knock this county off on the 21st of January. My step-father is getting surgery on his ear, and I am going down to Kent County to support my mother and family. We will stop by my Brother and Sister-in-law’s home on Thursday and maybe even get them to run with my son and me. I am so happy, and I can’t wait! It has been a while since I’ve run outside. I don’t know how well the conditions will be, being the middle of January, but it might be doable. 

New plan: My son had to work on the 21st, so we headed back on the 20th and was unable to do this county on this week. I’ll possibly attempt this in the next couple months. 3/1/21 Thinking of running this on Thursday this week. Have to fly out of GR to GA on Friday and plan to stay the night with my brother and sister-in-law Thursday night. Will be great to finally get this county checked off!
