My Running Journey:
My journey as a runner began in 2005 when I signed up for a couch to 5k program with Lisa Taylor. After completing the program, I immediately participated in a 10k race (the Bayshore). Since then, I’ve completed numerous 5ks, 10ks, and half marathons. During this time, I’ve already run in eleven Michigan counties (though I don’t count these for this project). I plan to revisit each and every county as part of this project. The counties I’ve run in so far include:
Grand_Traverse, Benzie, Leelanau, Kent, Isabella, Clare, Chippewa, Livingston, Genesse, Gladwin, and Ingham
